These terms govern your use of iny.me, the link-shortening, bio-page, and QR-code service operated by iny.me, Inc. By creating an account, clicking "I agree", or simply using the service, you enter into a legal agreement with us. If you don't agree to any part of these terms, please don't use the service.

If you're signing up on behalf of a company or another legal entity, you're confirming that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms — and "you" in this document means both you and that entity.

You need to be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use iny.me. You must give us accurate registration info and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so use a unique password and turn on two-factor authentication.

You can close your account at any time from Settings → Account. Closing the account stops any future billing and schedules your data for deletion (see the Privacy Policy for the schedule).

iny.me is a general-purpose link-and-content tool. We give you a lot of room, but there are a handful of things you cannot use it for. You agree not to use the service to:

• Distribute malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to harm a visitor's device or accounts.
• Run scams — including fake giveaways, fraudulent ecommerce, romance scams, and crypto rug-pulls.
• Share child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that sexualizes minors.
• Incite real-world violence against specific individuals or groups, or coordinate organized harassment.
• Cloak destinations to deceive ad networks, app-store reviewers, or content moderators.
• Scrape the service, abuse rate limits, or build a competing service on top of our infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise probe iny.me for security flaws outside our responsible-disclosure program.

Anything you upload, link, or build with iny.me — destination URLs, bio-page blocks, QR designs, custom slugs, images — is your content. You keep all the rights you came in with. We don't claim ownership of any of it.

To run the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, and display your content strictly for the purpose of providing iny.me to you and your visitors. The license ends when you delete the content or close the account.

You are responsible for making sure your content (and the destinations it points to) is lawful and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. If we receive a credible takedown notice under the DMCA or analogous law, we'll act on it — see the contact section for how to file one.

iny.me has a Free plan, a Pro plan, and a Team plan. The currently listed pricing is on the pricing page. Paid plans renew on the same day every month (or every year, if you picked annual), until you cancel.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time from your billing portal. We don't pro-rate mid-period refunds for the time you've already used, but we will refund the full charge of an annual plan if you cancel within 14 days of the renewal. If something genuinely broke and you want your money back, write to us — we're reasonable.

Price changes

We may change prices, but never quietly. We'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and the new price will only take effect on your next renewal.

Taxes

Prices on the site do not include VAT, GST, or local sales tax. If we're required to collect them in your jurisdiction, they'll appear on your invoice.

We're constantly improving iny.me, which means features come and go. For features that are part of a paid plan, we'll give you at least 30 days notice before removing them in a way that materially reduces what you signed up for, and we'll work with you on a reasonable migration path.

Beta features marked "Preview" or "Experimental" can change or disappear at any time. Don't bet your business on them.

The iny.me software, brand, logo, documentation, and the design of this website are owned by iny.me, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use them for the sole purpose of using the service. Nothing here gives you the right to use our name or logo without our written permission.

We can suspend or terminate your account if you materially break these terms — most commonly, by doing one of the things in Acceptable Use. Where it's safe to do so, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the issue. For severe violations (illegal content, active malware, payment fraud), we'll act immediately.

You can terminate this agreement at any time by closing your account. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

iny.me is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it fast, secure, and accurate, but to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that every short link will resolve every time, or that the analytics you see are perfectly accurate.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, neither iny.me nor anyone working with us will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — even if we knew the loss was possible.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is capped at the greater of $100 or the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless iny.me, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from any claim, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right. We'll let you know promptly about any claim, and you can pick the lawyer (with our reasonable approval).

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved through good-faith conversation will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and we both consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Nothing in this section overrides any mandatory rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date at the top, and for material changes we'll notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you don't agree, close your account before the effective date.

• Entire agreement. These terms (with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific addenda) are the whole agreement between you and iny.me about the service.
• Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• No waiver. If we don't enforce a right immediately, we haven't waived it.
• Assignment. You can't assign these terms without our written consent. We can assign them to a successor in a merger or acquisition.
• Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.
